I expected to like the 28 more as I read that the rosewood makes for more bass and low end. This may have been true, and the 28 did sound great, until I tried the 18. The 000-18 sounded much warmer, and so much more balanced than the 28. I have an 000-18 and an 000-28, and although admittedly they are not new, but they have the same architecture.
